ABOUT ME
He was born in Bachaquero, Zulia state, on October 29, 1949,. Son of Mercedes Rodríguez and Félix Ramón Royett from Margarita Estado Nueva Esparta. He studied plastic arts at the Cristobal Rojas School of Arts in the city of Caracas between 1970 and 1975.
Later he worked as a teacher at the San Cristobal School of Fine Arts, where he received recognition at the National Salon of Young Artists. A year later he traveled to Colombia to study Engraving.
At the end of the 1970s he continued his studies in England and France, in 1979 working at the “Atelier 17” directed by the artist Stanley William Hayter. He participated in the «Salon de Mai» paris-France country where he stayed for sixteen years. in 1980, 81 and 82.
WATCH HISTORY
He obtained the First Prize at the Salón de Occidente, Mérida- Venezuela. He participated in the XVII International Biennial of Engraving in Ljubljana. In 1982, he moved to Amsterdam to study Rembrandt’s paintings. On his return to Caracas, he settled in the Coro candle, where he did some artistic work for a gallery. He is the creator of the Mural Fabulacion Vamolense in his Natal Bachaquero, Zulia state, artist with numerous national and international recognitions
